Social media management for a handyman business
Social media will not fill your calendar, and anyone who says it will is selling something. What it does is settle a decision already half made. A homeowner has your card, checks Facebook, and finds either a page that posted last week or one that stopped in 2022. The second costs you jobs quietly.
For a repair business the content writes itself, because you finish something every day. Three posts a week, all shot on your phone: a before and after, a clip of a fix in progress, and one plain post about scheduling, pricing or a seasonal reminder. Neighborhood groups are worth more than your own page early, so post where homeowners argue about contractors.
The mistake is stock images and quotes about hard work. Nobody hires from those. Two weeks in, working means six to nine real posts up, a page that looks staffed, and a few message threads from people who saw a job two streets over.
