Website design and rebuilds for a handyman business
Half this trade has no site. 48.4% of listings link none, and the ones that do carry a median of 7 reviews against 1 for the ones that do not. The site is not causing the reviews. It is the clearest public sign of an operator who will still be working next year, and homeowners read it that way.
A handyman site does not need to be big. It needs a number that dials on tap, a stated minimum so wrong callers filter themselves out, photo upload for quoting, a service list matching your license, and a page per town. It should load in three seconds on cell data.
The mistake is a nine-page brochure with a contact form and no price signal anywhere. Two weeks in, working means the site loads fast on a phone, tap-to-call is the biggest thing on the screen, and every call you paid for has somewhere to land that does not lose it.
